Building an M/s Household: Finding, Interviewing and Selecting Members

Description

In this presentation we focus on the “recruiting process” of household members, from meeting the right people to interviewing and evaluating candidates. We share our own observations and experiences, which shaped the process we use in our household today.

We also offer tips and suggestions on how submissives and slaves should prepare for their search for the “right” Dominant/Master and Household. Time permitting, we discuss on-boarding of a new member.

Creating Identity as a Master

As Masters, our lives are a journey of discovery of our own unique identities. Along the path we are confronted by questions such as “Who am I?”, “What do I believe in?” and “Where do I belong?”

In this presentation we explore concepts of identity and discuss tools that can help us develop and evolve as Masters. In particular, we examine the discrepancies between our inner and outer identities; and core values such as control, power, and responsibility.

One Household, Two Masters and Several slaves

Description

M/s households are most often made up of one Master with one or several slaves. Households with several Masters are less common. Having more than one Master certainly poses many challenges, but it can also be very rewarding.

Over the last 10 years, we evolved from a one-on-one D/s structure to a two-Master multiple-slave household. In this workshop, we share experiences that led to our current structure, where we are today, and how we dealt with challenges encountered along the way. We discuss how we share ownership of slaves, responsibilities and household leadership.

Protocols and Manners for Play and 24/7

Description

The leather lifestyle has many unwritten rules and protocols. What are they? When are they in effect? How do you learn them?

Eric Pride’s lifestyle household, that he co-heads with Lady Christie, is well-known for their use of classical leather protocols. In this class he will not just talk about them, he will show many of them – from scene manners, formal protocols, to how they can be incorporated into play. In several hands-on demonstrations, he will show how they are used with new submissives and slaves, as well as how they can spice up your scenes.

The Active and Passive Roles of a slave

Description

Consensual slaves derive a significant amount of security and reward from being directly supervised by their Masters. Because it is rewarding for both Master and slave to share in intimate and complementary forms of service, this “interdependence” constitutes the basis of the dynamic in many Master/slave relationships. But what happens in situations when the Master is not available directly, chooses not to exert direct control, or decides to delegate a substantial task altogether?

In this presentation, we talk about how to build consistency in service by improving management and obedience. We examine how to set and accomplish goals, communicate clearly and efficiently, manage the active and passive roles, and deal with emotional blockage and other difficulties in service.
