We had a great time at TES Fest this on the weekend of June 29 – July 1, 2012. It was fun to see and hang out with many of our friends again, and play outside on the courtyard until the wee hours of the morning.
I had a blast teaching my classes – many thanks to you who came and participated in the discussions on effective communication and conflict resolution skills in alternative lifestyle relationships. Many thanks to Mistress Amiko, my lovely class assistant (and much more!), who saved me from having to reveal how poor my hand writing is.
I would like to thank the organizers for putting together a great event that felt personal and intimate, yet had something to offer for everyone. A big plus was that the weather Gods were on our side. Blessed be Freyr and Thor! Before each one of my classes someone from the organizers came to the class room to check that I had everything I need. As a presenter that is a nice touch that I always greatly appreciate.
The auction on Saturday to raise money for NCSF was fun to participate in. If you didn’t have an opportunity to make your donation there please make sure you do on their website
. As Bo Blaze so eloquently put it: “NCSF is our lobbying organization, supporting alternative sexuality and lifestyles.”
Shermie, thank you for letting me crack your bullwhips – my shoulders were sore for several days
Always when I attend TES Fest I am reminded by my first time at this event in the early 2000s. Yes, that was when it was held at Hotel Pennsylvania near Penn Station. The scene has changed a lot since then and TES Fest has evolved with many new ideas and great initiatives. This weekend was a perfect example of what a great scene we have today.
