Managing Breakups in the Scene: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

Description

An inevitable reality about relationships is that they may not last forever. The same of course is true for relationships in the scene. Breakups are taxing, stressful and very emotional.

In this presentation we talk about why lifestyle relationships sometimes come to an end, how to handle the breakup process, and how to get back on our feet again. Questions we will address include: How are lifestyle and vanilla breakups different? What are “fair breakups”? How do we handle our own and previous partner’s feelings and emotions? How do we deal with family, friends and other people who are affected by the breakup? How do we get back out there?

This presentation is conducted as an interactive discussion. All who attend are expected to actively participate.
